The Support for Excellence programme is a QIA-funded programme which will help colleges and providers work together to improve their self-assessment processes, to develop their capacity for self-improvement, and to implement the LSC's Framework for Excellence as it is fully rolled out.
The programme will do this primarily through the use of peer review and development (PRD) activity focusing on whole organisation development. By ensuring the robustness of self-assessment processes and judgements, and by encouraging collective action to address improvement needs, this programme will support colleges and providers in their move towards becoming self-regulating.

Updated guidance for the further education system about self-assessment is now available. This will be of interest to colleges and other providers funded by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC).
