Firstly, you need to register or log in.
Select a forum and then a topic to get involved in or view.
You will be able to read all the posts that have already been contributed by other users. The posts will display the user's name, comment and date it was posted. To add a comment, click on the Add Reply button on the top left. If you'd like to quote a previous comment in the topic, click on the quote button in the top right of the comment.
You can change the way the topic is viewed, click the View button on the top right.
Click on the “register here” link on the right hand side of each page or the homepage, complete our simple registration form, and then you will have access to all of the My Excellence Gateway features - saving bookmarks, saving searches, selecting RSS feeds, and the forums.
Follow the link from every page, and simply enter your username and password to log in.
A bookmark is a feature that allows you to save a quick reference to a page you'd like to visit again. You'll need to be logged to benefit from this feature. Your bookmarks are stored on you're my Excellence Gateway page.
If you are logged in, you can bookmark any page of the site by clicking on the “Bookmark this page” icon on the right hand side. Your bookmarks will be saved on your My Excellence Gateway and you can easily go back to any marked page by clicking on the relevant link there.
A saved search is a feature that allows you to save the search term(s) you've used to run a search. Don't forget, as the site grows the search results may change. You'll need to be logged to benefit from this feature.
Run the search as usual, either from the search box at the top of the page or through the advanced search options. Then simply click on the link at the top of the search results page. Your bookmarks will be saved on your My Excellence Gateway and you can easily re-run any of yoru saved searches by clicking on the relevant link there.
To save a news feed, click "Save this news feed" on the right hand side of hte page that displays any news feed. This feed will be saved on your My Excellence Gateway page.
Click on either the link in the left hand navigation or at the top of the page.

You can browse the site either by using the left hand navigation, or by selecting a topic on the homepage and then selecting a sub-category, where you'll find relevant information. If you're looking for something in specific, you can either enter a keyword into the search box on the top right-hand of any page, or use the advanced search option to refine your search.
Search tips:
To upload content, you'll need to register with the site first and then log in. Once you've logged in, clicking on the My Excellence Gateway link from any page takes you through to your personal portal space, which is where you can find the option to upload your content. Click on this link and follow the instructions in the form to upload your work.
Again, this is another option available exclusively to registered users.It's really simple to register.
