The functional skills support programme is a workforce development programme preparing practitioners to be fully competent and confident to teach functional English, functional mathematics and functional ICT in the pilot centres from September 2007. Support is free and available to all centres participating in the QCA pilot, including:

The CPD package will be coordinated by QIA's regional coordinators and NS strategy managers. Support will be managed by QIA and NS and delivered by the Learning and Skills Network (LSN) or NS strategy managers.
